hey reeeeeba. how are you doing?? i feel like we haven't talked in ages and ages. (probably because we haven't talked for ages and ages). that makes me sad.

i'm gathering by your lj posts that you've left ucla and are looking at the east coast. how is that going? let me know where you end up.

i miss you! i still remember going over to your house for math and physics "study sessions" and eating really really well. what was that soup you made with bread ?? cream of celery? gosh, that was delish.

I'll probably go and see it too, although I kinda hate movies like that. They're good if you want to see one view of things, but people often see movies as being more of an authority figure than they actually are. They (the movies) tend to present everything from one perspective, and usually bring a bunch of events together in such a way that a lot of hypothesies end up being presented as though they were facts. But the worst thing about them is that people, once they leave the movie theatre, believe themselves to be terribly enlightened, when they often are using the movie as their only source on information. Oveerall, I think the hyping up of science, although it does get more people interested, ends up devaluing the quality of the information presented. Sorry, but that's just how I feel.
