Today is the day I switch from using my 'winter soap,' Imperial Leather to my 'summer soap,' Safeguard. There are no particular formalites involved in the annual observance of Reebar's-Switch-to-Summer-Soap Day. Feel free to celebrate in what ever manner you see fit.

Because, while I prefer to use an antibacterial soap, e.g., Safeguard, it dries my skin out too much in the winter-time. In fact, the only soap I've ever found that _didn't_ make my skin painfully dry is Imperial Leather which is only available in the UK. So I load up on it when I'm there and beg friends to bring it back for me between times.

alright. Next time you go to England, think I'll fit in your carryon?

I mostly go to Scotland but if your keep eating what Laura tells you and going to the gym, you might be able to fit. It's a long bumpy ride; NYC to Heathrow to either Glasgow, Edinburgh or Inverness to Stornoway.

Aren't you overlooking the part where it's not ... you know ... SUMMER yet?

As (at least for a little while longer) a fat guy, I'm not nearly as sensitive to cold as you are. And it's really the dryness of the winter rather than the cold anyhow. Plus, we're probably almost a month ahead of you Spring-wise. The early flowers and forsythia are blooming here. It's still chilly but it's not dry.
