.... Yesterday, for one of the first times in nearly 30 years, I didn't shave. The only other times I haven't have been when I was in the hospital. Guess what? No one noticed. My beard, which used to be very red, is now sandy brown, gray and white. You can't tell unless you kiss me and, at least yesterday, no one did

Creates an interesting image. Every so often Sean uses clippers to shorten his beard, and he even shaves clean, infrequently, because I love his beard and he knows it. But it gets to itching or something when it's too long so he kinda shortens it and looks a bit scruffy for a couple of days.

I used to know a guy whose sandy red hair showed up as gray and silver in his beard. He used "Just For Men" on his beard! We could always tell, because he only did it occasionally. He was a hoot.
