Wow! Wondered what had become of you. I'm glad to hear you actually went through with this. Funny, though, from all I'd heard about it, I never considered that it might be painful. I have friends in Lakeland who both underwent the surgery, about three months apart, and neither of them mentioned the pain factor. No matter. You sound as if you're dealing with it and it's working. Congratulations! Kudos! Best wishes and all of that. Can't wait to see you, when you finally get around to visiting FL again.
Keep your positive mental attitude where it can be seen at all times! 8-) Pizza is not all it's cracked up to be. The worst thing our parents ever taught us was "clean your plate." There's no law that says you have to eat it, just because it's there, but the guilt factor is relentless. I'll be interested to hear about your progress. Hang in there, good buddy. Sean and I send our best.
Once in a while is right! I bet you have a Facebook account and you don't much care about us LJ-ers, anymore. How are you doing? What's new in your world? Were you impacted by Irene? When are you coming to visit? Stuff like that.
Me again. I keep hoping you haven't completely abandoned LJ, but I see the writing on the wall.
Sean and I drove to Detroit a few weeks ago to attend his cousin's wedding in Royal Oak. It would have been such fun if the Tigers had been in the Series while we were there, but we had a great time anyway. I missed bantering with you about our respective teams. Mine gets a new stadium this year. Come to think of it, I wonder why I didn't insist we drive by Tiger Stadium while we were there. We did go to the Henry Ford Museum. Fascinating place.
What's happening in your world? Hope everything is okay. Winter is coming. Time for a visit to the southland...
