also when i first saw lord of the rings (in msia) the subtitles for the elvish speech were all in malay and we thought they were just making shit up

I'm okay with it if it's for a purpose, like empathising with a character who can't understand them either.

I haven't come across anything that obnoxious though. What did you see?
