Wow, that was very powerful. For a moment there I thought Robin really was going to drown. The tone of your writing conveyed the boy's emotions so strongly. Whew, so glad they survived.

I’m glad you thought the emotions were strong. I feel that would be the worst part of drowning, just all the time you have to think and panic, so that's where I wanted the focus.

This whole thing is beautiful. There's a perpetual sense of urgency and panic throughout that pretty much forced me to finish reading. For a second there I thought they might actually die. And Kaldur's blatant guilt at being unable to help Robin? Powerful and gut wrenching.

I full up and stopped in the middle of writing this to decide where it was going and if Robin would die because it seriously could have gone either way, so I’m glad the urgency translated well. And it was that guilt that kept pushing me on in the story because, really, watching someone you care for die when you’re just fine? So painful. And Kaldur just wants to serve up justice and be a good leader.

I think he’s actually my favorite, at least to write. I didn’t realize it before because I truly have a soft spot for everyone in that show. But Kaldur is…kind of pulling ahead right now, ha ha.
