Five Times Mr. Woolsey Thought He Saw Something and One Time He Did

Dec 30, 2010 15:04

Pairing: Rodney McKay, John Sheppard
Summary: As a long-time observer of human behavior, Richard Woolsey couldn't help being intrigued. It was either that, or break up the inevitable brawl.

A/N: I'm having one of those rare slashy moments.

I'm a sucker for outside POV, and you handled this one so beautifully. Loved Woolsey's thoughts - they seemed very true to his nature, and the glimpses of John and Rodney (especially the infirmary!) were so lovely and bittersweet, as well.

How nice of you to say! I never thought I would write a "Times" story, but there's a first for everything. Thanks for reading!

I really enjoyed each of these scenes. I would like to mention that the title "CMO" is used for Chief Medical Officer. Not the military. Every time I read Richard refer to John and Rodney as CMO and CSO, I was momentarily confused as I immediately thought of Carson or Jennifer. =)

Granted he wasn't the frighteningly intelligent Sam Carter, nor was he the compassionate negotiator Elizabeth Weir, but he felt he had something to offer.

And *that* was exactly why I thought Woolsey was perfect for Atlantis when I heard he was going there.... he brought his own knowledge of the stargate program but he wasn't the soldier Sam was and yet he could be a negotiator.

Yes, it's always good to know your senior staff is getting along... ;-)

Staff togetherness is always important. Yes, I thought Richard Woolsey was a good choice too. I liked the way Woolsey reacted to situations, knowing he was in over his head, yet never letting anyone see him sweat.

Thanks for reading!
