Happy Birthday to Bilbo Baggins! Happy Birthday to Frodo Baggins! It's September 22nd, and to celebrate everyone's two favorite hobbit-y ringbearers, I made a podfic!
Home Behind and Home Ahead, written by etharei, is an adorable ball of fluff and feelings. It's canon that Bilbo adopted Frodo, a few years after his return from Erebor, but this story takes that tidbit and turns out five thousand words of Found Family Feels. Bilbo and Frodo building their lives together, and sharing hobbies, and being general sweethearts is good enough to make you lightheaded with glee, but the true moment of SUPREME EXCELLENCE in this story is when Bilbo faces the challenge of many single parents: introducing his child to his Significant Other. All in all, reading this story made my heart grow three sizes too big, and I wanted to share that joy on this happy (birth)day.
