WEEK OF PODFICIVERSARY (day three)
Day Three's installment of fantabulous XMFC podficosity is another by helens78: Ignition. Featuring Erik and Charles as modern-day mutant car thieves, Ignition is essentially a PWP with added hot cars. Seriously - you need to know what the Audi R8 looks like, to fully appreciate the sex-on-the-hood moments of this fic.
Hot damn. If only this weren't an actual car ad, owned by an actual car company - wouldn't this picture make a kickawesome cover? Like, put the title in where the license plate is, and the author's name streaming behind on the road? And, the Intro/Outro music for this podfic is Pedal to the Metal, performed by Kazzer - it's got lots of car noises, and the fast pace of the song fits perfectly with the feel of speed evoked by both the above image and the actual fic.
Anyway, obsession over hot cars and hot boys having hot sex on top of hot cars aside, this story is yet another intriguing AU created by helens78 - and raises lots of questions that helens78 should answer in the sequel (was that a sublte enough plea for more fic? 'Cause I can go back and try again.....). Questions like, how did Charles get into the car-theft business? What happens when they need to hand off the car to its new owners? What do Charles and Erik get up to, back at Erik's place?
