Damg. Today sucked in FFXI. Which is all I do pretty much because I'm crazy.

( I'll spare you guys from reading it because no one cares but I typed it all up anyway! :O )

Wow. I actually understood that WHOLE THING. Sort of. No clue what pulling is, what pugs are, or why you need to find a crab, or what a PT is (PARTY TOWN *dances*)...but I think I got it.

Basically, you overtapped the button and missed the got-item message while trying to open the chest, and got killed. Then you guys were trying to go to some town/place or fight some monster near some town/place and couldn't because the monsters were too strong and were bitches. Then you got killed by some spiders by trying to help and then die again because the ninja in your party is an idiot, using gay spells/moves at the wrong times. D:

I say eat them. Eat them all.

That, or it's like Charon/Self-Destruct, in which he blew himself up to deal a lot of damage.

My party was 57. -.- They just sucked really bad. Well i was 56. But everyone else was 57.

...Wow, I also understood that, except for the camp thing, but mostly because I never got far enough to do that in a party. Dang Ahrimans.

I'm tempted to start playing FFXI again, and I probably would, if not for the fact that DW4 still owns my soul, plus I'd probably be, like, the only level 1 character in the game.

Hey, if it'll make you feel better. I could see about getting you a World Pass to the Phoenix server or something. I've got a lvl 22 BLM/RDM and a lvl 9 WAR on there.

Besides, you wouldn't be the only lvl 1 character in the game. There are still quite a few new people getting into the game (and I do expect a modest boost in players when they release their big special edition thingy here.) That, and given that you can change your job at the drop of a hat, there isn't much of a lack for lvl 1 people.

Ouch. You got your AF Body, but to de-level and all... Not sure if the trade off there was worth it. I've never personally been that high a level really.

Honestly, after the 3rd raptor (or even the 2nd depending on how things where going) I would have left the party. I mean, even with the recent update, a NIN should still beable to hold hate if played properly... and that SAM really should have at least started the SCs not too long after you ask. From what I've heard, SAMs are among the group that take forever to get PT Invites (along with DRGs, the first adv. job I want.)

In the end though, it's just a matter of personal preference, and pure luck if you get a good pt or not. I got a pretty good one myself last night, but I'll post that stuff in my own LJ.
