Things have been a little crazy for me as of late, but all good crazy. I finally got my money from the first two instalments of my student loan and managed to pay almost every bill off including my credit cards. The only thing credit wise I have left is the credit card for my furniture. I dont think thats too bad cinsidering the other $4700 ( Read more... )

If you have a GSM phone, it will work in Europe...but there will be roaming charges that might kill you. You might call your phone company and see if they have a plan to manage that. If your phone has a SIM card, once you get to Spain, you can sign up with a Spanish cell phone carrier and swap the SIM card...this is if your phone is unlocked and can be used on any carrier. AT&T and T-Mobile allow you to unlock your phone after owning it for three months. (according to sources....)

Spain is part of the EU, so they use the Euro. $1.40 = 1 Euro. Fairly close. Spanish will be helpful. :)

And remember, Spain is a Schengen State so a visa to Spain will get you to anywhere else on the continent. Yay for travel.

I used to work for a company that got visas/passports for folks, so the information has stuck in my head. :)

Have fun in Spain if you go. If you run into anything there that knows aadroma, then we'll know it's gotten really bad. ;) I haven't used my Spanish since high school so I'd be lost.
