UM. UM. CAN I PLEASE HIDE IN YOUR PURSE, OR YOU CAN GET A BIG 60'S HAIRDO AND I'LL HIDE IN THERE AND COME ALONG? :D That's awesome news and omfg Angels in America, too?! I need to move back to the states, dammit! I'll talk to you soon <3
PS $1000 is totally worth it. LIFE EXPERIENCES, I SAY.
*checks my carry-on, cries at the lack of space for a body*
See, I keep telling myself that all the traveling we end up doing is totes life enriching (WHICH IT IS), but then I get back and my bank account is crying, boo. Impulsivity + wanderlust = bad combo. But I don't care! I can live the rest of the month off of ramen and the leftover condiments in my fridge, right?
Nyu has been wanting to see this for ages, she loves the play. And she has that Mon-Wed off and i'll have a bunch of big projects for work done so it was good timing all around. Good to hear it is totally worth it!
o_O How did your friend get to shake his hand? Did she hang out after and wait for the actors to come out? I don't know if I have the guts to do that but would love the deets just in case.
I expect a full Captain Fine review on your LJ when you get back! DON'T LET US DOWN. (Just think of all the poor fangirls in the world meaning just me, of course BUT STILL.)
Oh trust me, I will review the bejeezus out of it; the trick is to actually get around to posting the review once it's done. *Runs to complete her Howl review from, like, January* Hopefully the gore is stage gore, not real gore, so I won't be holding my hands over my eyes the whole time like a wimp and missing everything; THAT is what you have to worry about, hah.
I am still recovering from the ww Friday but it was so fun! Have moved on to bigger and better chapters in my story, yay. I read your episode summary; it was epic, forreals. So glad you didn't lose the whole thing!
Well, I can insanely bug you 'til you post it - I REALLY WANT DEETS, PAL. When are you seeing this piece of awesomeness, anyway?
I've heard that the gore isn't entirely realistic - like, it's meant to be theatrical and funny, rather than actual horror? So I hope you're safe, that way! (From what I've heard, you have to worry more about spitting.)
OMMGGGG the episode summary is kind of a miracle, because it also suffered some severe thunderstorms and potential-tornado weather. I actually had the power short out while writing the last half - stupid Mother Nature (or me, for even having the comp on!) I'm glad people like it. ♥
Glad the story is going well! I look forward to actually participating in a word war next time - I've got a lot of catch-up to do, boo.
WHUT. Stupid storms. It's like the fates were conspiring to keep your amazing summary of amazingness from ever seeing the light of day; lucky for us you foiled them! You will have to teach me your computer-fu for the next time my computer decides to hate me too.
And bug away, I work best with prodding! (Not cattle prods, more like finger pokes.) We are seeing it two weeks from tomorrow, on the third. We are way in the back, so no spitting to be worried about I am sure. I am just praying he does not get a cold or laryngitis or something crazy like fake mercury poisoning; if I get there and it is an understudy in his place there WILL be blood on the stage, and a lot of it will be real. (You think I am kidding? Okay, I am. Or not. No, I am. *shakes head no* But I could be? Or not.)
