Even More HP (I Know!): More Epilogue Spoilers, Articles, and Rupert Grint
Mugglenet had a link about the Today Show interview, which apparently I missed yesterday?; Rowling reveals more about what Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Luna are up to during the epilogue!
Apparently Rowling purposefully kept the epilogue vague:
"The author was shooting for “nebulous,” something “poetic.” She wanted the readers to feel as if they were looking at Platform 9¾ through the mist, unable to make out exactly who was there and who was not."
Well, she succeeded, that's for sure. But at least she's willing to dish about the future and not keep it all nebulous and mysterious forever. Nice to know Harry got the Auror job like he wanted, and that he and Ron have transformed the ministry. (Though, frankly, it would have been nice to get a glimpse at the end of the book of just HOW much the magical world HAD changed for the better; there was no sense for me of whether all the heroics and sacrifices really had made a huge difference, was there? Besides Voldemort being dead of course.) And Hermione in magical law enforcement? Well, she helped break enough rules in spite of being a stickler for them, that I guess she would excel there. She would know all the tricks. Didn't think of her ending up there specifically though. And so glad to hear about Luna, though I think honestly she could choose between Neville OR Dean, after all she went through with the two boys, and holding hands with Dean at the end. (I love Luna so much, and she is so perfectly cast in the movies too, hooray that her character will have a good future.) And hah, Elicia, I was right that Victoire was Bill and Fleur's daughter! And her name does mean victory like I thought, but I looked it up to be sure.

Rupert Grint and Emma Watson helped host "The 9" on Yahoo TV on July 13th. Look how cute they are! Plus you get to learn fun things about them: Rupert likes the Pigeon Detectives (I do too, good taste mate!) and owns an ice cream truck, and would love to see John Heder in the movies As Rufus Scrimgeour(?!); Emma loves texting and toast. And there's always the hot picks of David Beckham to drool over; Becks, can't wait 'till you come back and play in Salt Lake again!
And someone made a fab vid on YouTube of his own HP song! It's hysterical! He has pretty accurate predictions too. But poor Leeshee, he calls Draco a "puss-face." Except he says Accio like AXE-ee-yo, where I thought it was AH-chee-oh. Ah well, potayto potahto, right?
Will the fun HP stuff ever stop? Will you bash ME over the head for posting hem if *i* don't stop =) Um, I hope not; I hope these are actualy amusing to someone else besides me. Right? Right?
