Dang, why are you taking Math IIC?!? I signed up for it too, then discovered it's not required for UC admission. Oh joy! Best of luck though!

I'm pretty much almost positive; because the new SAT is designed to cover Algebra 2, it's no longer required. You just have to take two SAT IIs from different subject areas- not World History and US History, instead World History and Chemistry or something.

At least, that's what Emma told me and what I got after reading their policies like 4,000 times over. I think I blew NUMEROUS circuits when I found that out! I think I might still call or something because I'm super nervous that's not right?

You DO NOT need math IIC for the UC's. However, it does look really good if you get a good score on it.

Lots of private colleges crave the IIC though.

Do you have to take a math subject test for the UCs?

I'm taking it too and I'm also screwed, like a bowling ball on stilts that's walking in quicksand. However, I heard that it looks really good if you do well on it if you are planning to go into the engineering or medical fields. A BOWLING BALL ON STILTS!
