[ Things were looking up for the most part since Giles' return. There were still some matters that needed to be fixed, had to be fixed. Like the nightmares Frederic was still having. Among Helios' own problems which he has effectively been hiding away. They were matters that would take considerable amounts of effort and time, all of which they had, to fix. They just...had to go about fixing them now.

Helios was just coming back from a bakery run, one of many this month, when he sees Frederic like that. There's a sharp intake of breath and Helios goes to put the bag in his arms down on any surface nearby. His stomach drops because everything had been going so well, as far as he could tell. ]

[Frederic sits up quickly when he hears Helios come into the apartment and tries to dry his eyes so his friend cannot see what he was doing just now. But...the composer also supposed it was time for his friend to know.]

He's gone Helios... [He starts sounding really upset again and crying a little.] Feliks is gone.

[ Helios will definitely be taking a seat next to his friend an arm wrapping around Frederic's shoulders as he draws him into a semi-awkward hug. ]

[The composer sobs on his best friend's shoulder, unable to hold back his sorrow. All he could do was hold his friend close and be like this with him.]

Why him, Helios? Why did they have to send him home without me? We promised to go home together.

[It's been a distracted sort of day for Giles. And, by and large, he's tried to spend it out of the apartment. He's tried to spend it away from Helios and Frederic, in case he loses his nerve for what's due to happen later tonight.

But he can't stay away forever, doesn't want to stay away forever, and so returns to the apartment one last time to get things in order before setting off to meet Grell.

The first thing he sees when he walks in the door is Frederic, and Giles has never seen the man look quite so broken.]
