[Even if he and the composer aren't particularly close, Robert still recognizes Frederic's voice now, and is feeling stable enough recently to offer a bit of cheer.]

One's birthdate can be seen as a sort of annual celebration of one's self, in a way. If nothing else, it is a reminder that you have experienced another year of life - which is generally more pleasant than the alternative, right?

At any rate, I hope your birthday is a good one. [Especially now that Helios is back to celebrate it...]

It is only what one deserves on one's birthdate - that ought to be something to be positive about. Especially in a place like this - one needs all the positivity that one can get, at times.

[Robert sobers at the next part.] ... Ah, well. That... is partially my fault as well, of course. I did not mean to be... troublesome to you.

Like many of the worlds here, it is... a difference that I perhaps have trouble understanding. [And it only took Robert a month and a half to figure this out.] At any rate, there is no offense taken. Both of us were out of sorts, what with Helios' kidnapping, you still recovering, and myself being... troubled.
