Reflection III: Reveals!
Just like that, our third round has come to an end. Time really do flies when you're having fun! And even with the many roadblocks that we experienced, we're glad to still be able to spread the kyungmyeon love. And so without further ado, here is our culminating post for this round!

I just want to say thanks to everyone who anticipated and participated with this round of Reflection! We're still very glad and thankful for everyone's interest and support for it! And even though we've met some adversity, the mods were glad to wrap up this round with thankfulness. And I would just want to say a huge thanks and encourage you guys to send lots of love to my co-mod, Kaichou-mod. She has done almost everything for this round and I'm really glad she's here for all of us KyungMyeon shippers.
Spread the KyungMyeon love, and Happy Birthday to Junmyeon! ❤

Honestly, when I conceptualized the idea of hosting a sudi fic fest two years ago, I didn't expect for us to reach round 3. When we opened prompting this round, I didn't expect to receive over a hundred prompts. When we opened claiming, I wasn't even sure we'd get a sign-up, let alone more than ten! Sure, our fest wasn't perfect, far from our fellow fests. We didn't have the best of publicity materials, we didn't tweet often, we respond slowly to emails, we even forgot about this fest for a entire month, haha! This round wasn't the best one out of all our previous rounds, either-final submission turnout was at its lowest and attrition rate was at its highest. Despite everything, however, I'm still so grateful to everyone who became part of this round. Thank you once again for letting my little dream come true, and for helping us keep the sudi ship afloat. Thank you to our fellow fests for helping us promote, for our writers (and yes, even those who dropped out!) who lent us their time and talent, for the new friends who we met because of mod struggles and a shared love for sudi, for those who RT-ed our tweets and read our fics, for those who had been part of our rocky journey since Round 1, for you who's still reading this. And of course, thank you to EXO, especially our otp Junmyeon (the birthday boy!) and Kyungsoo for being our inspirations. Our tiny fest is far from perfect, but it's *our* tiny fest, and I'm so, so proud of it. Thank you everyone for making Reflection III happen. 💛

Aside from our thanks and reveals, we would like to take the opportunity to announce that Reflection will be going on an indefinite hiatus. Managing a fest, even one as small as ours, isn't a piece of cake and we're just two adults who simply don't have enough time to spare. Buchou mod is quite busy with work, and kaichou mod is on her way to grad school later this year. We've already had so many shortcomings as mods this round because of irl constraints, and we don't want to host a round only to abandon it and inconvenience everyone. However, we're not writing off a future round! Who knows, maybe we can find a bit of time somewhere (during term break perhaps). We're also going to be discussing hiring other mods, but for now, your trusty sudi fic fest will just be your trusty rt bot for other fests. From the bottom of hearts, thank you to everyone who prompted, wrote, commented, left kudos, retweeted, and just simply enjoyed our little fest in their own way for the past three rounds. We're eternally grateful for the two short but lovely years with you. :)
