I understand. :[ <3 I have actually found a co-owner who will be helping me with stampcards and such until the move.
I hate to see you go, but I understand. I wanted to give everyone a month's notice at least so people could decide what they wanted to do. I didn't want to spring changes before suddenly going into hiatus. <3 Thank you for commenting, and best of luck to you as well out in the TCG world!
I'm excited about the move to site-based since I prefer those kinds of TCGs! Hopefully it will be easier for you to balance, too. I get the impression that they're much less time-intensive to run than journal-based ones.
Oh, and if it wasn't obvious, I'll be sticking around. :)
Thank you! They really are, honestly. I'll have automated scripts for games, text-rewards (for people to simply copy and paste) and.. come on... you'll be able to direct-link. xD It'll be so much more simple, I think, for people.
I hate that some people chose to leave, but I understand their decisions to completely. Glad to know people are sticking around!! More people are than I thought :O
LJ is not the main problem, it's only a continuing factor in the giant list of things wrong. Mods will be necessary, only for different types of games. :[ I agree that it can be annoying to have to use forums for a bunch of different TCGs, but I've been considering Exposure which hosts multiple TCGs.
Thank you for the input, though. I really appreciate it.
I'll be staying although I'm not a very forum person which is why I am delaying joining some site-based TCGs that I like. But since I'm starting anyway at another TCG, I don't mind the shift, heh. :3 I'm also in a bit of a mess with all my trade posts because I'm in the process of shifting everything to a subdomain. I understand the part of LJ sucking though as I'm also slowly detaching myself from LJ and shifting stuff off it. (Boos for LJ!)
I'm not that bothered about the time taken for anything to be processed recently because Nov and Dec are such busy months! (I'm swamped from writing cards and I'm not even done. Sob, my poor hand.)
& I'll definitely still be interested in being a deckmaker still! :x Gonna PM you later for the details. ^_^
I admit that I'm going to try to find a nice alternative to forums where people can use one account for multiple tcgs they're playing in (which is why I'm considering Exposure which isn't usually anime-based, but...)
Yes. Nov/Dec is what's killing me right now moreso than just time period. :[ But thank you very much. I hope that you'll continue to stick around!
