Thanks very much! That particular tidbit was in the Flame Alchemist gaiden, the manga version of Ep 37, in which Havoc had to observe the Colonel's day-to-day activities at HQ.

I wish I could. I have no ear for the deeping meanings of music.

And it looks nummy with the pics. I especially love your final pic choice. There were other prettier pics of him, but that one was perfect for the last section. Unfinished, rough draft, raw form... his story's still unfolding. It's not finished yet.

Mmm, I actually spent a lot of time trying to decide which pics would be best to use. I changed a lot of them to colour through the course of it, but I didn't want to change the last sketchy one, because that's exactly how his character is at the moment; rough, still very much under development, far from complete or perfect.

Yay! This is great! ^^

As you, I haven't noticed him too much until he was injured, but now I'm pretty fond of Havoc (though I haven't included him in fics yet, due to a lack of analysis of him from me), and let me tell you: It's great to see an essay that reivindicates him. It's really tiring to see him so badly portrayed by authors in general, and it's a sad thing he's so overlooked by a good portion of the fandom.

Haha, I fic him a lot, myself. He can be a little bit difficult to get a handle of at first, but now I love writing him. He's an interesting character, and it certainly is a shame that a lot of people ignore him. I think he's pretty awesome, myself. ^_^
