I could talk about this set for ages upon ages upon ages because Xena is the most fabulous show for themes like this! I know Xena is known for lesbian subtext and camp, but to be honest? This show was actually quite quality. It is my go to show when my inspiration is low and my ability to Photoshop is severely lacking. Which is exactly what I did yesterday! These icons (to begin with) were just supposed to be a way for me to blow off icon steam, relax, and have fun. Xena caps are so non-pressure. I've got several icon deadlines looming (and a never ending stream of holiday icon activities + regular holiday stuff in real life), and originally these icons helped me with exactly none of them. In fact, for this challenge, I had tons of way different plans in mind (and two sets of five already started). So these weren't necessarily intended for inspired20in20. However, none of my original plans were going quite as expected and I was frustrated and set on giving up this round because my muse has gone on holiday vacation. The more I looked at those Xena icons though, the more plans I had in my head about how they actually did work as a whole set. And like I said, I could talk for ages about this set and the subtext and what everything ~means, but I won't because then I'd just be sitting here for too long.
