Bikes hanging from the ceiling-
shelves everywhere
(the cat keeps attacking the rose and the bread).
In the bed his sleep is fitful-
the demons come out at night
(the demons in his head come out at night).

He looks like he has aged ten years since I last saw him.
He looks like he has been through a war.

Oddly warm weather-
blue skies and apple pie.

The quarter is all done-

my photographs got the best grade in the class.
But they were mainly of Virginia and it's citizens,
why can't I shoot outside Virginia?
