i may have found a cobbler in london. my current preferred cobbler is in amsterdam. the new one seems like he knows his shit but we'll see what the quality of the work will be

London seems like the kind of place that would have a great cobbler. Medieval London at least.

they fix the shoes by waving a stick of wood over it and muttering something that sounds like "reparo"

it does, but finding them is difficult. and the cost of a mistake is potentially a pair of screwed up shoes because of bad repairs. i am hopeful for this one though!
