for $250 it's absoutely excellent!

unless you're willing to remember 99 presets than the best way to use them is to dial a random number and start tapping away, (or remember a few "good" settings)

they do a lot of delay/glitch style sounds, and there's a button to "hold" any effect so that you can use it like an effect pedal (the main reason I use this in a guitar rig is because it does all the weird digital effects that guitar pedals seem to ignore) it also has a setting to disable the original sound and play the effect only, which mean you can do short bursts of sounding, I've managed to get one of the effects to sound like record scratching even...
