I think Carue might have got bitten by an insect or something at that last island.  He keeps picking at one spot on his right wing, so much that the feathers there are falling out and the skin underneath is red and raw.  He keeps snapping at me when I go near him, too.  Any suggestions?

He's a Large Spot Billed Duck; he looks like this.

A veterinary would know best, but it could either be parasites, dehydration, stress related behavior or nervous causes.

Hmm. I don't think it's dehydration, but any of the others could be possible. If he actually lets me get close to him today, I'll have a better idea.

You should get Chopper to talk to him. Because then he can just...tell you what's wrong. And then Chopper can probably help!

I hope that, too. I think that Mello-san might be right too, though, in that Carue may need something to occupy him while we're at sea.

Yes, he is. We've been together ever since I was little - I'm not sure what's got into him at the moment.

Perhaps your bird has a skin infection? Or I'm guessing something bit him while you were there...
