Ben Has Two Dads - The Overview
A Not-So General Guide to a World Where Ben Braeden is Indeed a Winchester by Blood:
The Backstory:
So I was in L.A. at wincon back in 2007 when I saw Supernatural's episode The Kids are Alright. Before watching it, I had called up ignited to lovingly harass her inquire if Ben was Dean's son. She left me hanging in the wind, man. And the episode's conclusion was lulz, he's a mini-Dean but he's not the bio-kid, sorry.
A seed was planted that fateful night and turned into a fic that seriously ate my brain. I showed it to Stef asking if I should finish it, she called me an idiot (lovingly) and then we collaborated on creating a story where Ben does find out he's a Winchester and totally heads off on awesome journeys with Dean and Sam.
While I tend to go with flow and accept canon interpretations (as of this post, we're in season six of SPN and Ben's still not Dean's biological son) it's a nice AU thought - Dean having a kid. Because it's comedy gold. Oh yeah, there's angst too, but I do love me some easy jokes.
I always told Stef I was going to write a proper sequel to our original fic where the boys are in Texas and Dean spends his time restoring a GTO, Ben experiences his first love (and heartbreak) and Sam joins the PTA and takes up baking. Instead I wrote over 11K of crossover fic with Glee set after that fictional year in Texas.
That's just how I roll.

Summary: Where Ben Winchester transfers to Dalton and either helps or ruins Kurt Hummel’s life depending on who’s telling the story. A stirring tale of dude-bonding, how Blaine Anderson is temporarily categorized to be a douche bro under the estimation of a Mr. B. Winchester, a mystery of a slow-motion hallway is never solved, the heartbreak of first love is nursed via playing fairy godmother to a pair of lovestruck idiots, a GTO might actually save the day, and there is awesome air guitaring. The less said about the accidental almost-stabbing the better.
The Return of Coach Roth: The Winchester Strikes back
Pairing: Sam/Dean, mention of Kurt/Blaine, Ben/Other
Rating: R
Summary: The moments leading up to Dean's glorious return as Coach Roth in the Lima high school known as McKinley High. If one of these moments involves accidental crossdressing, Dean will deny it to his dying breath.
