After a month and a half of looking... I've finally got a job! I'll be working at Bistro Bella on 23rd street. My best friend Derek is the manager, so obviously it helped to know him, but he made it clear to me that I'm not hired because I'm his friend. Thanks! I hope I enjoy it, too! I am sure that I will, though. Derek has told me a lot about his coworkers and they seem like pretty cool people.
As for stuff with Nicki - don't go jumping to any conclusions quite yet, lol. Right now I am content with the fact that we are talking like we used to and not having an argument at least once a week. We've been able to open up a lot to one another and that's led to a lot of good talks, and a lot of smiles on my end. If somewhere down the road we get back together, I think I'd be very happy with that. But I also realize that it may not exactly happen, and I'll be okay with it if it doesn't.
So anyhow... I really haven't been on here much. How have you been?
