The Vampire Paradox

I have been thinking about vampires in the traditional sense.. cold, no heartbeat.. lets stop there. Now if a vampire has no heartbeat, that would render their circulatory system useless. Therefore they would no longer need to eat either because their bodies no longer need the nutrients that a normal working circulatory system would distribute ( Read more... )

I think that is the least of your problems when trying to justify the existence of vampires. Just think of the paradoxes... they'd have to be deathly allergic to sunlight and garlic and how can people explain that they live forever? Plus even if they drank the blood of humans it would just go straight to their stomachs, right? How could the blood go from human circulatory systems to vampiric ones unless they had a totally different body layout? It really doesn't make sense.
