You know you've been working on term papers too long (or your subconscious is screaming out some important message to you) when, in the middle of an otherwise very serious and very literary sentence, you write, "the themes of the story are characteristically depp."

Is my subconscious trying to tell me something?

I think I have found a reason for living. Or at least, a reason to continue through the last week or so of the semester.

I just finished reading Martha Cooley's The Archivist. And wow.

Tragedy of the day: Microsoft Word does not have the word "Woolf" in its dictionary. Woolf. Like Virginia. Like one of the greatest literary icons of the 20th century. Yet another reason why someone should stop Bill Gates from taking over the world, one laptop at a time.
