If you think it is shocking I dare not attempt to watch it, LOL! Still, the pictures are pretty, and that pink and green stripey gown reminds me quite forcibly of some surviving museum examples.
:D I didn't want to let the community fall by the wayside. :) I do love having opened up the community to the entire Georgian period a lot more liberating. I really loved the costumes of the entire era :D
Clarissa is shocking in a way that is not meant to titillate like some dramas. Lovelace forces himself on Clarissa, but the entire scene is horrifying. Hopefully not too many people are reading my reply if they have not already seen it, lol.

Clarissa is not unlike Tess of the D'Urbervilles, correct? I just watched the Justine Waddell version a few weeks back. Talk about depressing, LOL!
