Why am I friends with 143 people if post something about a real concern I have on an issue and I do not get ONE response? hmm.. Do you not have an opinion, do these thing not make you think, how could you be silent

shoe pavilion pisses me off. we get a shipment of somewhere around 50 packages each containing at least 20 single shoe boxes every wednesday. every single shoe box is filled with cardboard fillers and various tissue papers that we usually just throw away while stocking. (it's either that, or running around the store picking the mess off the ground after the customers have torn through it.) i see close to no purpose in about 80% of the trash we throw out every night. we recycle the cardboard, but everything else is just waste waste waste.
i think about these kind of things all the time, but i must admit i'm discouraged about the small chance i see in one purpose making any kind of real change in the bigger problem.

man. i know what you mean. i worked a journeys kidz, much much smaller place but yes, so much wasted. and no only wasting but the workers were so dishonest i hated it. some shoes would come with two pairs of shoelaces and they would take them out and forget to put them back in, steal them, or put them in a seperate basket and we sold those ones laying around seperatly when if they only knew those shoes probably came with those shoelaces.

i find it more frustrating to not do anything about it. yes im just one little wee person in the world but don't ideas come from one person and are spread, one person can do so much, one person can influence others who influence 5 more and 10 more after that, ect. One person does matte and just letting it happen will never make anythign better, Plus when you are reponsible for the slightest change its a great feeling, it will make you want to not stop and do all you can, that is how i feel.
