Unfortunately, I'm sorry to say that I Don't Get It, because this sounds like something really awesome.
I watched it and indeed enjoyed it, but mostly I thought, gee, well-done pop all around, and the guy seems likable.
I wonder whether it's my age, or my gender, or my never having seen this guy before in any context (yeah, I know, I live under a rock, whatevs), or what, but it just didn't grab me and shake me.
Anyhow, I'm glad y'all love it. I know how much I love that feeling of WOW THIS IS SO COOL and I'm sorry I don't share it with ya this time around.
But if you can edumacate me, I'd love to know. Then again, I guess you already have, and I'm just not tuned to the frequency on which he's broadcasting.

One of the things I find particularly amazing is this guy was on American Idol. He was on American Idol (a show I did not and still don't watch, by the way, I found out about this through the friends I have that are into it) this past season and got all the way to the finals (he came second, but the guy he came first to is totally adorable and a really good musician and I'm also a total fan of Kris Allen, just for different reasons) even when pictures of him making out with an ex-boyfriend got out pretty early in the season, but he refused to back down or explain them away - all he did while on the show was confirm that they were real, but they don't talk to the press much while on the show period - and then post show he technically "came out" on the cover of Rolling Stone, but he laughs about it being called "coming out" because he was living as a gay man in LA for the past 8 years - he's just like "I was ( ... )
