Um. This fic is the longest thing I've written to date, and is also the first thing I've finished in this fandom to date. It's also the most complicated fic I've ever written in terms of plot, so I'm pretty sure it's kind of all over the place in terms of emotional arc and plot lines. I ran out of patience at the end though, so here it is. :P

Oh my god, this is the perfect college AU with the drunken parties and frat boys winding up naked (hahah) and awkward encounters of the emotionally-stunted kind! And such a lovely Ariadne! I like the friends-not-quite-friends she was with Arthur at first, because don't we all know what that's like? Someone we can maybe see something more with but that maybe we don't want to push the boundaries, and then they go and date rich business boys. :3

This is so fun and a bit angsty and just so lovely. *__* And the ending makes my soppy heart happy. ♥

You are so nice to me~~~~ Thank you for the lovely comment! I'm so glad you liked Ariadne. Trufax, this fic was originally supposed to be an OT3, but the dynamic just wasn't working. But then when I cut Ariadne out of the main relationship I really didn't want to shaft her, so I'm so happy you like what I have.

Ahh I'm sorry, I am sort of glad you did not do OT3 because I just cannot-- get into any OT3. /o\ It is a very personal thing! I am always skeptical of them because of emotional jealousy and whatnot. But that is my issue haha, so I will stop talking about it.

To each their own I guess! I love poly fics when done well, but often OT3 can get complicated, it's true. (Possibly one of the best Inception fics I've ever read was an OT4 comprised of two OTPs - Arthur/Eames and Cobb/Mall - and it just worked and kind of made me cry.)

I would love to crosspost it, but I'm not sure where to do so. :P

this is gorgeous and heartwarming and the little pieces of angst make the end all the more lovely. ♥ I think you really manage to etch a picture of the beach into the reader's head, and I am all !!! when I think about the final scene. :33
