The Dark Knight

I went to see The Dark Knight last night with a few friends. Everyone on lj that I've seen mention it had nothing but good things to say, and I've been waiting for it to come out since I heard of its' existence. This movie was built up so much in my mind-- and it still managed to be even better than I anticipated. I will definitely be going to

We saw it last night and thought it was awesome. I think I had my eyes closed nearly everytime the joker went to kill somebody. Dang knife freaked me out. Then when Chris came home from work this morning he was like all I thought about last night was batman I can't get it out of my head. Which of course he was waking me up from a dream where I was being told by Alfred there was no vanilla icecream in the house because batman only liked chocolate lol.

Hahaha, that dream sounds pretty awesome. I would hope that Batman would have both chocolate and vanilla ice cream. =) I fought to keep myself from closing my eyes during any of those scenes, although the Joker and his knife thing was really creepy. I love that there were parts that made me laugh, and then something would happen and just scare the crap out of me. Amazing.

I'm really glad it was as good as it was. I really needed a movie to just... beat my expectations.

Yesss, I definitely know where you're coming from there. I don't frequently go see movies in the theater because I'm usually disappointed, a lot of movies are crap. This made up for it, I was ready to watch it again as soon as it was over. =)
