Unlike my friend Rokuta's possible sentiments, I believe that sometimes you cannot avoid bloodshed. Live your life just running away from conflict won't make them disappear. Actually, I agree that sometimes bloodshed cannot be avoided. Still, that curse was unnecessary. I do understand that going along with it and fighting was needed, in so far as it's just another situation that can come up. The only difference is that it wasn't brought about by something I'd call "natural", but that matters little when one's own life or that of someone dear is at stake.

(OOC: Uhh, pretend Rin knew about Youko's birthday. And got her some chocolate and a scarf in purple and green.)

Really? That's interesting! But yeah... bad luck.

Makes sense that that would be the case, if one looks at it strictly from the people's point of view... not that that makes it fair.

It's not the first for me. I saw his soul during that curse day.

You know babies grow in trees there, right? That doesn't make the women the center of the home anymore.

I know it's not fair. But all I have to do is learn, while the people are suffering meanwhile. I have no room to complain.

No, I mean the day we were cursed with seeing each other's spirits by gazing into our eyes. I saw his and he saw mine. We stumbled on the streets.

Hey, what... ? You can talk to me, you know. But I suppose if you don't want to, that's alright.

It was like an empty castle, filled with darkness. Not necessary evil, just weird.

It's not that I don't trust you, but it's that it's frustrating to even speak of this to people who haven't seen it.

Uhm, I meant in a general way, but... thanks, I guess.

"Weird", huh?

I'm not sure yet what kind of vibes I get from him.
