It's grammar time!

I saw an article in Reader's Digest in which the author described a number of common grammatical errors that people make. Being the fan of proper grammar that I am, I found the article very interesting. Thank you for this! I've seen people who are otherwise good writers mess all of these up at some point. For some reason, people confusing #5 annoys me the most, because it's so common and so rarely corrected. For instance, Craig has a song on his playlist called "Lay Back in the Arms of Someone" that makes me twitch every time I hear it, because it's supposed to be "lie back," not "lay back." Your explanation here is probably as clear as it gets, so I hope at least a few people read it and learn a little about using lay/lie correctly.
