Doc has now conferred with the neurologist and I am off to spend some time Monday morning in the MRI.  Meanwhile more pain pills and work this weekend.

In the contents of the mailbox, there were the lab results.  All the tests were normal.  Okay -- that is good news.  I just want to know what the heck is going on that I have to take pain pills so I can get through the day.  So back to the Doctor on Friday and see what else I can be tested for ( Read more... )

Figure that it is time for an update.  Since my exacerbation in July I have been feeling like a poorly organized slime mold.  Tired all the time and achy all over.  Not a lot of motivation to do anything.  Dragging myself here and there only when necessary.  After a period of incredible patience, my Beloved told me to go talk to my doctor ( Read more... )

Attended my first staff meeting of the year and feel better.  The place is running just fine (rumors notwithstanding).  Plans are afoot to re work some of the tech and I will be a very minor functionary in backlog pruning.

I'm tired now -- the nap calls.

What can you say when it is pretty much the usual here at Chateau Giques?  It is pretty much the same here.  It is good to see Ron hard at work at his new place of employment.  Things seem to be chugging along at sorta-normal.  There is reason to hope for tomorrow.  I have friends and a job that I love and for that I am humbled and grateful.  I am ( Read more... )
