Day 1:It was on sunday nite when R suddenly came running saying she had pain in her mouth. I looked and saw that she bit her tongue (*must be all the fries and chocs she's been eating the past week!!). She was ( Read more... )

Nope, she refused porridge yesterday nite and asked for rice (which she did not eat and only cried at the sight of the rice) ... like "can see, but cannot touch" kinda feeling :(

But just heard from MIL that she's better during lunch today. Could ask for rice and ate up one small bowl + some mashed papaya after that (yeah!!!). Each mouth she eats comes with a little whining *ouch*...but I think she's improving :) Most likely she cannot tahan the hunger anymore and gotta EAT!!!!

will have to try that, but I think she likes rice as it is. Hope she can eat 'with vengence' (like Nicole) when she's feeling better ;P

Lily is helping me to buy the Vi Protection Blend and the Super Kids Throat Spray from Vitakids, so I hope these will give her some relief too..

It was off the shelf for some time now, even before Nicole has got the HFMD. But if you are daring enough, you can still try the expired calendula (Lily is collecting it from me tomorrow). I was so desperate the other time, and went ahead to give Nicole the expired stuff, just 2 tiny drops/administration over 2 days, and voila N ate with a vengence.

But now N is down with high fever after recovering from HFMD shortly, her fever hovers around 38 - 39 deg. Sigh don't know how long more before she can recovers fully and enjoy your holiday programme...I got so many places to bring her to too :(

replying to ur sms here :) ...

Lily helped me to buy the Herbs for Kids Vi Protection Blend and Super Kids Throat Spray from Vitakids. Just got the stuff so hvn't tried yet. But what I basically wanted was something to relieve the ulcers, which I think is the main irritant. I'll let u know how it goes ...

R seems to be a bit better this afternoon. Apparently asked for rice and ate up a small bowl :) Sounds like improvement to me (*phew*)

N's fever is still not down? started yesterday, right? What did the doc say? Hope she recovers quickly...
