i don't know how often you check this, but I hope you see my comment sometime soon. I'm trying to find some colleges in California I'd like to apply to but there are so fucking many I think my head's gonna explode. How'd you narrow down your college search, and how'd you know where you wanted to apply? If you can help me out I'd really appreciate it. thanks.
write me an e-mail because I don't check this very often: jenna.kelleher@gmail.com
Ok so here's the breakdown: if you're looking at public schools there's two types-
University of California's (UC) California State University (CSU, Cal State)
the UC's are more prestigious and there's less of them, at the top is Berkeley and UCLA. Cal state's are everywhere but the only one with real prestige is Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
There are also privates: Stanford, Cal Tech, and the Claremont Colleges, which all have good reputations.
When you look at college, look at the size, location, strong major programs, and pick something that works for you.
