Now, the really important question is: did you take notes on those snack weaknesses? Because that would be useful. (I'm one of those people who actually keeps a file on food/drink/music/lighting/whatever preferences, for entertaining).
There are only nine other people in my current office, so no written notes but I will remember!
(I make mental notes more than anything else -- I should probably follow your example and write things down so that I won't have to rely on my increasingly awful memory.)
It's helpful! Especially if you have a wide variety of people. My mom used to do weekly dinner parties for a rotating group of her *entire* church, and those notecards were vital. She still has them somewhere, even if half those people are dead now and the writing is nearly illegible. But yeah, only nine? You could probably just track all of them by who meerkats at what you bring out.
