So, playing Abyss today, I made the most stupid mistake.

About twenty hours in or so, in that one Cavern with the Fonimin, I'm low on supplies, ect. I get to the boss, and get it all the way down from 35000 to 5000. I die. I have to go through the scene all over again, so to make sure that doesn't happen, I go and save before going back to the boss.

Well, not dungeon per se, but. Remember how right after that one labratory where they look at the replica experiments, you have to go to this one cavern~?

OH. Yes, actually I do remember. Wyon Mirrored Cave (that's the name for it on the soundtrack) or something like that, right? What's the boss?

It's like this... squid-type-thing, and with jellyfish surrounding it. Cyto-somethingorother. XD;; My memory's not the best right now. Where you only have Natalia, Jade, Anise, and Asch.

What I did that time was

1.a. Set shortcut key to Natalia's heal (at that point of the game Natalia's cure is at higher rank than Tear's I think)

2. Set another shortcut key to your most powerful Jade attack

3. Attack run attack run attack run attack run

4. Anise? ........... I simply don't know XD

I have just concluded that this game requires more brains than I actually possess.

Natalia has nonexistant TP remaining and I have no orange gels. When I said I'm low on items, I really, really meant it. ;__;

I have Jade spamming Earthquake among other things. ♥

XDD;; My Anise is all sorts of dead right now, though I do have life potions. I mostly use those to make sure Jade's still alive XD;

In that case set Natalia (and probably everyone else) to conserve TP in normal battles until your team's TP are okay enough to battle the boss XD

..... maybe I should try the battle later. XD

Ack! I wish I could help, but I've not got the game as of yet! I hope you'll be able to get out of that situation? If nothing you try works, you can always ask at the Namco forum, where they have a Members Helping Members category? Or IGN and Gamespot answer questions too.

I'll probably try again later tonight after getting some of my homework done, and hopefully I can get out of it, because I really, really don't want to have to start over from the beginning. And the plot was just getting mega absorbing too alkgjalkgj (Like just learning about the replica business and stuff. ;__; *didn't spoil TOA for herself somehow*)

Hmm you're in the cave section where you only control Asch and gang right? Set off natalia's more useless attacks and let her concentrate on healing or just only set her to concentrate on healing all the time. If possible set Jade to only blast that thing with high level magic that will give effect. Anise is pretty powerful on her own so you can just unset all the ones that don't do much damage since she's an all round powerhouse thing^^

At best if just keep running back and forth and hitting it. Other than that if you set attacking to Anise and full magic to Jade it should do more than substantial damage as it is even when you're low on items.

Hm, I forgot that Anise could be useful. (She's currently dead until I bother to use a life bottle on her) XD;; I'll try that sometime later today, thanks~! ♥♥
