Okay, so this is my first post. I've been watching my sis do this for ages, but it's always seemed a bit confusing, with all the pages and buttons and stuff. I still find it confusing, but I guess it's not too different from other online communities I've been to. I could get used to this. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi to anyone that somehow

I looked them up on google, cause I wanted a waterfall and figured it had to be 100x100pixels, so I looked that up and it gave me a site with pretty icons ^.^

Very nice. You can also find pretty icons and layouts at different communities. In fact, if you go to "search livejournal," type in something, scroll down to "Interest" and click search, you can find communities and people who are interested in the same things that you are.

Well, most livejournals aren't have amazingly written because...well, it's a journal. So I think you'll be okay having older people read your LJ. You can always find younger LJers journals to read (although I think some of those journals may bore you a bit, lol)
