My new layout appears to have Daisys where its boobs would be...

See above statement.

I am going to attempt to use this more.  I think this will be more successful once I change it enough/ purge it harshly.

True to form, horrible pain= LJ.  But this time I was trying to distract myself by making the old posts disappear.  Some won't go and it takes a long ass time to do them one at a time.

So please don't hunt for them, I can summarize the entire history of my LJ for you to save us both the time and annoyance (embarrassment?):

"Blarg I'm sick.  Look at me being a teenager- hey, I can quote stuff!  These are song lyrics, quizzes, etc.  I really love my friends, but have terrible self esteem.  Also, I'm sick again.  I don't sleep.  HEY!   Check out the sick on me- hawt.   I care nothing for grammar, spelling, or punctuation.  Whine, whine, bitch, bitch- I miss people but can't see them because I'm sick."

There.  Done.  You have the entire summary there.  If I can't hide them all, I will just delete this and remake it.  Be prepared for this to be the answer.

Also, going through and seeing this further confirmed that I complain too much and need to man up more.  Also, since I kind of stream of consciousness type frequently I make no promises that my grammar, spelling, and punctuation will ever be right.

I think in ellipses because I interrupt myself.  Think dialogue in a script with LOTS of overlapping- yeah, that's my brain.

So other people use this to say what they are up to, and I like reading that, so I'll give it a shot (as I pointed out that time spent doing this is actually time invested into letting other people know what's going on in my life and therefore an investment into keeping friends).

Last week was crazy busy at work- Rush, working open to close 3 days running.  Thursday I only worked 7-8ish hours, and then left for good times with J and his parents.  They came up for his graduation.  He enjoyed the visit, though they did spend a lot of time taking pictures of birds (note: in the 2 years we have been here they never came to visit, yet would frequently drive further than it would take to see J to take pictures of birds, and this hurt J's feelings).  Friday he walked- they said his name wrong- and my dad and his wife (who came up) treated everyone to lunch, which was weird and unlike my dad.

Then his parents caught the train back and he went out for Gentlemen's Intermission (a very small affair this week) while LAS (hey!  old nickname from a bygone era popping up there...short hand, let's correct...) Lucy and I got our sneaky on for the Saturday party.  J was pleasantly drunk when we got home.

Saturday was quiet all things considered.  I woke him up with origami flowers that I spent hours making in secret (J likes traditional stuff, 4 year anniversary, traditional gift is flowers, making by hand = more personal and less sneeze inducing) wished him a happy anniversary and told him about the first sneaky I had done- planning out a little camping trip for later this year (I was hoping to take him to Maine since he always says how much he loved it, but couldn't make the budget stretch enough for it).  He was very pleased- I think it appealed to the 10 year old girl in him.  We had some running around, and eventually the party, which was revealed as a joint party (Jeff turning 30 and J's graduation) and I presented him with a full Stalin costume.  A fair number of people were good sports and wore costumes, which looked awesome.  We had a couple Romans, some Scotsmen, a German solider, an Egyptian queen, a viking, a pirate, a redneck, some ren. women, a hot biker chick (not a costume lol), Stalin, Lenin, and of course Carl Sagan.  I was a German beer wench- laziest costume ever- my effort went into his costume, and he was super pleased/ surprised.

Funniest party memory is either the line that formed to pay homage to the Egyptian Queen, or me guarding the redneck who passed out to make sure nothing unpleasant was done to him (and a Scottsman picking me up and moving me to demonstrate that I was not the best body guard.)

It was a good, but quiet party (especially considering the vast amount of alcohol that was available) and for some reason I couldn't make myself relax.  My asthma started getting rough for some reason and my color has been a little off.  I had one drink that I sipped early in the evening, but I was DDing, so that was it for me.  In other news, my eyesight has gotten so bad that driving at night is not good- I'll be happy when this gets fixed.

Sunday we spent board gaming, which was awesome fun.  Arkham horror 2x and Betrayal @ house once.  I started having bad GERD then , so made sure I ate frequently and had ginger.  But that landed me here I guess in spite of the efforts.

I think I'll do a private post too...that one will have thoughts that I need to keep/ the annoying bitching and moaning so they don't bother people.  Maybe I should learn how to use filters and other such fancy LJ tools?

The internet may be a witch.
