Yes! There are two major malls, where by "major malls" I mean about the size of a decent "shopping center" in Phoenix -- like the one on Camelback & 20th Street that has the Trader Joe's and the Book Star, except with a department store sort of tacked on.
They finally broke down and allowed a Wal*Mart in; they'd been successfully resisting it for years.
