sob sob OKAY. I really should have done this the last time I had Robert, but whatevs. I AM DOING IT NOW. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS THREE YEARS TOO LATE.
As I said in the giant notes post ...
"Robert is some weird angel / heavenly ... thing. They translate it as "celestial being" in some of the fansubs, aaaaaand I believe it's also "celestial being" in the manga."

"Tenkaijin", because I am a lazy whore and it's what I'm used to, although Robert himself will probably use the terms interchangeably as he did when he was in camp before. eta: CANONMATES = consistency!! Anyway, as it says above, celestials are ... well, they're not quite angels, except they are. Shut up, it totally makes sense! For all intents and purposes, it is basically Ueki-world's version of angels / holy / heavenly beings.
Additionally, these celestials have their own special set of abilities known as "jingi" or "sacred treasures" (celestial treasures, it varies from translation to translation). Writing all of them up would take forever, so instead, I will link to the wiki entry. eta: Inumaru's permissions/stats meme also has a good description of them. While Robert no longer has his GOD-MODE JINGI, they are still pretty damn powerful. In other words, Robert is prooobably my most powerful character.
eta: SOMETHING ELSE TO NOTE. Is that in canon, Robert states that celestials can't use two jingi at once. And then Ueki does (which is assumed to be his level two but isn't) and either he does or one of the others does later IIRC, but this gets contradicted. A lot. Fukuchi does not understand this silly consistency thing. Which means I'll be playing it fast and loose as always, but it shouldn't be a huge issue since he doesn't fight much anyway nowadays.
Obviously, this sort of thing will probably ping people. That I don't mind at all! However, Robert does have ... some issues. If Robert's inhumanity pings your character, please feel free to bring it up in a thread! I would appreciate a heads up, but it's not really necessary.
Also, on the subject of celestials and fighting, while Robert is actually one of the less fight-happy people in his canon - in that he only fights when he feels like it, basically - he will still get into fights. And Robert is, for the most part, a Hibari/godmode-esque character. Which isn't to say that I as a player particularly mind losing! But he's not the type that would dive into a fight he couldn't win without a good reason, so there's the whole balance thing going there.
Basically! If you want to fight Robert or the thread is gearing towards fighting, contact me! Cracky and hilarious interventions are our friends, and we can certainly figure something out that everyone's cool with. also, deleting super old comments to this post so if you notice that your comment's missing, uh.
