It's probably not too late for a little retrospect and hoping...

What did you do in 2010 that you’ve never done before?
I resigned from work twice in the same year. Oh, and I went to Boracay.

What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
An iPod. It's more realistic than buying an iPad for myself.

What was your biggest achievement of the year 2010?
Earning my master's degree.

What was your biggest failure?
I can't recall any that merits the tag "biggest failure."

What was the best thing you bought?
A Timex sports watch for Eric.

Did you suffer from any illnesses or injuries?
I had the usual coughs and colds.

Whose behavior merited celebration?
Janice Ivy Valparaiso.

What did you really, really get excited about?
Christmas 2010 because I knew that with Eric and me both having regular income at that time that the holidays would be better for us than it had been in 2009.

What songs will always remind you of 2010?
I don't usually associate songs with a particular year.

Compared to this time last year, I am…
...better off financially. We're still recovering, but we're definitely in a better position now than in last year.

What do you wish you’d done more?
Saved up even just a little. And exercised.

What do you wish you’d done less of?
Worried too much.

What was the best book you’ve read for 2010?
I hadn't been able to read any non-academic book in 2010.

What was your greatest musical discovery?
Bruno Mars. I'm not sure if he may have started earlier than 2010 though. I'm not into any new music lately.

What was your fave film of the year?
The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader

What did you do on your bday, and how old were you?
I woke up in a mountain resort where we had stayed overnight, had lunch at a seaside restaurant, then bought dinner for the family. There was no party as we didn't have a lot of money, not to mention that it was Black Saturday then. I turned 33.

How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010?
Boring. And rebellious (while I was in Ateneo because I kept wearing the same stuff I wore when I was still with UP)...although I did learn to appreciate wearing girly shoes again.

What kept you sane?
My husband.

Which celebrity figure did you fancy the most?
Derek Ramsey and TJ Trinidad.

What political issue stirred you the most?
The May 2010 elections

Who did you miss?
Claire and John (because they're still in NY) and all of my friends in Manila.

Who was the best new person you met?
Norico Aiko Limsiaco. She made me feel I'm a really good teacher.

Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2010:
You have to believe in yourself first before you can make people believe in you.

What was the nicest thing someone told you about yourself?
Someone told me I'm an ideal wife because I work full-time, manage the household (even do the housework when we didn't have a maid), and take care of my husband all with ease. (Akala lang niya yun, hehe.)

What is the most touching experience you’ve had this year?
I wouldn't exactly call it touching...but having the choice of where to work made me realize I am valued. Before that, I didn't have any other choice.

If you could go back in time to any moment of 2010 and change something, what would it be?
There had been nothing I really wanted to change.
