So I'm loving all the fem!Kurogane and fem!Fai floating around recently on the comms. But I have to say, these are my favorite. I love that they are still themselves and not different because one of them is the opposite gender.

Kurogane and a baby. ^.^ Having a baby is such a complicated thing, and Kurogane is so worried because she is a warrior. Comparing herself to the best mother figure she knew, her mom, and realizing that she was the complete opposite had to be worrisome. She needs hugs and assurance that she will be a good daddy and Fai will be a good mommy.

Favorite part, Fai going bra shopping and knowing her size. I am sure he analyzed them extensively. I am such a pervert. speaking of, it is awful of you to skip the smut

You know there's a shop in London that does that for men? At least their daughter will be treated right. The thought of both Fai and Kurogane guarding their third daughter is precious. I can easily imagine Kuro-daddy being hard on a potential suitor. However, I can just as easily imagine Fai, all smiles as he turns to his wife and says, "Keep your eyes on that one Daddy. I sense trouble!" Girls with a ninja for a parent really have a tough time dating.

Looking at the Bra is too boring for Fai. The other guys have no excuse, though. >.<

I love post series stories that touches a bit on the past, a lot on the present and how main characters are all in a better state of place and mind, and strong hints that the future will be alright. This fic doesn't disappoint at all.

Ow, I know Kurogane's such a strong woman and that everyone important to her loves her, but this line hurts.

I gotta say that the character that truly shines out to me in this (aside from Kurogane) is Sakura. It's so nice to see her being the one reaching out to helping Kurogane in her worries and insecurities of being an expecting parent. Her reassurances and maturity really does remind me of Mother!Sakura (and also Tomoyo).

Kurogane is being a scrub here, but thankfully Sakura is there to talk her out of it. I'm kind of sad that I never really had the opportunity to explore how Kurogane and Sakura interact in this 'verse before now. Maybe I'll go back and do it. It's basically the same as she interacts with her princess, and the gruff protective way Kuro-daddy interacts with her in canon, but they're not really any closer because they're both girls 'cos Kurogane is too busy being in self-denial.

So much love for this, in every way. I love Sakura, being wonderful and determined and proposing to Syaoran; I love Fai knowing Kuro-sama's cup size by feel and being quietly aware that something has changed, and I love Kuro-daddy the most. The MOST.
