A chubby cheeked six year old boy, was playing in the sand box, waiting for his friend. Suddenly, a pair of hands covered his eyes. "Ryo-chan, guess who is it?" The other boy tried saying in another voice. "I know it's you, Yuto-kun." Yamada giggled. "Mou, Ryo-chan is not fun." Yuto pouted.
"Fine! I'm no fun okay?" Yamada pretended to be angry with Yuto and turned his back to him. "Aww, Ryo-chan, come on! I was just joking." Yuto placed his head on Yamada's shoulders. Yamada remained quiet. Slender arms slipped around Yamada's waist, "Ryo-chan~~ I'm sorry, forgive me please?" Yuto said.
"Alright, alright. I'll forgive you." Yamada turned his body around, pinching Yuto's nose. "Yay! Ryo-chan is the best! Ryo-chan is my bestfriend and I love Ryo-chan a whole lot!" Yuto shouted and hugged Yamada tightly. Yamada couldn't help but blushed at what Yuto had just said. "Yuto-kun is also my bestfriend and I love Yuto-kun a whole lot as well!" Yamada hands found it's way to Yuto's back, hugging him back equally tight. "I really mean it you know, Ryo-chan?"
"I know." Yamada replied smiling.
"I love you."
"I love you too."

Ten years passed, Yuto and Yamada weren't as close as before anymore. Yamada is busier than before too, not only does he need to deal with JUMP work, but also NYC too. Whenever Yuto tried to meet up with Yamada, Yamada always have stuffs to do. And when Yamada wants to meet up with Yuto, Yuto is busy with his stuffs.
Nowadays, Yamada is much much closer to Chinen, and Yuto is much closer to Keito. Even though those two aren't spending time together, they always would throw glances at each other secretly, when one is not looking. Days continued to be like that. And as each day passed, they seemed to get further and further. Yamada really really wished to talk to him again like the old days, but... he just can't bring himself to.
The same thing goes for Yuto, none of them dares to speak up. But, Yamada knew that he has reached his limit and decided to talk to Yuto. JUMP practice was over and everyone had went home except the two of them. Yuto had already packed his stuff, getting ready to walk out. But he was grabbed, preventing him to walk any further.
Yuto was shocked to see who had grabbed him. "Y-Yama-chan?" 'Yama-chan? What happened to Ryo-chan?' "Yuto-kun... C-can I walk home with you? I mean it's been a long time since we hav --- " "Okay." Yuto replied when Yamada haven't finished his sentence.

Both of them walked in silence. Only crickets cricketing and walking footsteps could be heard. The silence was suffocating the Yamada, so he decided to speak up. "Hey..." Yamada stopped in his tracks. Yamada's movement made Yuto stopped too. "Yeah?"
"Y-Yuto-kun, w-who is your bestfriend now?" Yamada stammered.
"I guess... it's Keito." Yuto said while looking at Yamada.
"I-I see...Looks like Keito has replaced me..." Yamada said sadly as tears rolled down his rosy cheeks. Yamada looked down to avoid Yuto's stare. Yuto used his fingers to tilt Yamada's head so he could see the brown orbs of his. "Keito didn't replace you Yama-chan." Yuto said.
"Wasn't I your bestfriend?" Yamada choked in between his sobs. Yuto smiled softly at the crying figure in front of him, he thumbed away the crystal tears and said, "Remember the three words I said to you when we were young?" "You said alot of three words to me Yuto-kun, like 'Let's eat together!' , 'This is fun!' , 'I was joking.' and alot more."
"I love you, was the three words." Yuto whispered, making Yamada cheeks taint scarlet red.
"I love you, Ryo-chan. I love you and you are more than a bestfriend to me. So actually, Keito didn't replace you. Because I already have you as the one I love. Even though all this while we were far apart, I never stopped loving you." Yuto said gently. Hearing this, Yamada smiled. "So now you love me?"
"Of course, Ryo-chan."
"I love you, Yuto-kun." Yamada said while hugging Yuto.
"I love you too, Ryo-chan."
Three words was all they needed to solve their little problem.
