I don't actually think it's all that bad, honestly. I mean, it's not perfect and there are things I would change, but it does use space in a much better way on the info page. Mostly, it's just different, and things can't stay the same forever. Still, it would be nice if they'd pay a little bit more attention to the design of it. It looks very utilitarian the way it is now.

Oh, it's improved a great deal. Honestly. There used to be a two column deal going on...and it was HORRID. They've fixed it a bit since then. The two column one was horribly crowded.

No, what I mean is that the latest change isn't really all that different from the way it is now. Mostly, it just uses the space a lot better and makes it easier to find information about the user...which is of course the point of that page.

I got what you were saying. I just was letting you know what the first draft looked like. It looked just like Myspace. This one is better, I agree. I still like the old way better though.

Yeah, it looks too "advanced" for me... I like the simple user info that LJ has now. I too wish they'd stop messing around and changing everything.

It used to be much worse looking in the beginning. It was made up of two columns.

No problem. Well, they say that if there is a change, it'll be a long way off. And even then, there'll be an option to turn it off, kind of like the info strips that are an option on your lj.
