[It's about 6:30 AM on a Monday morning but the teenage girl sitting at her desk in the video is already up and dressed in an obviously brand new uniform and made up perfectly. She's playing with a pen as she talks in very American English, and while she's smiling, her eyes are flicking up and down from the camera to the top of her desk.]
Good morning! I know I met some of you this weekend, but if we didn't, my name's Danni Fuchs and I'm starting school here today. I'm a ju- in my second year of high school [her smile widens as if to distract from the mistake], and I'm really excited to be here. And I'm really sorry to start us off like this but I... um... [she looks to the side as she draws in a breath] I really need you guys' help.
I need to turn in my class schedule this morning so I can start, but I still have to choose two more classes before I can register. Everything sounds so amazing I can't decide what to take. Is there anything where if I come in now I won't have to review too much? I think I still have to take finals, and I want to make sure I can catch up. I know it's kind of late to ask, but I had so many things to do yesterday before my mom left and if anyone could help me now, I'd really appreciate it.
