Inside North Quad somewhere

Flandre had spotted someone interesting going around the corner--so of course she had followed them. Though she didn't call out to greet this person, at least just yet--even when she recognized her. Marisa! That just made her quicken her steps.

...though she doesn't seem to have learned much from the last incident of sneaking up on people, well on the way to doing that again.

When she gets close enough, Flandre headbutted Marisa's arm in greeting.

"Hello!"

There's a bit of pink sunburn on her face still; mostly on one side of her nose. That didn't stop her from smiling, though. Not in the least.

Even though sneaking up on Marisa sometimes wasn't a good thing given her own issues, Flandre was much smaller than her so she just chuckled at the headbutt and looked down. One hand came down on top of the girl's head.

"Heya, honey. Welcome back to school. You look like you got some sun this summer."

Though pleased by this hand business (which was probably the whole point of bumping into Marisa anyway) she seemed rather disgruntled by the reminder.

"It's already itching. And then it's going to peel and all my skin will fall off like a lizard."

And then she'll have a really weird tan for awhile.

"Didn't you know? Lizards shed their skin like that so they can stay cute." Yes, Marisa found most lizards to be cute.

"You wanna stay cute, right? I know I want you to stay cute."

Shin hated to be awake even half an hour before noon if he could help it but he desperately needed a cigarette. So he'd found his usual corner and was about to light up. He looked up from the flame of his prize Vivienne Westwood planet lighter to see Marisa, who he thought of as a breath of fresh air in a school mostly populated by the uptight.

Marisa caught a whiff of smoke as she was passing and it drew her attention like a beacon. She was trying to quit, to the point that she was trying not to even keep cigarettes on her person, but seeing Shin smoking caused her to deviate from her path and call out to him.

"Oi! Shin! Can I bum one?"

Shin closed the lighter, retrieved one from his pocket and held it out to her.

"Just one. You can only get these in Japan and i'm down to my last pack."

They were Black Stones, of course, with the deep, cherry flavor.

"Thanks, ze." Marisa leaned against the wall and enjoyed her first cigarette since returning to Reims.

"I can get some more of these for you if you want."
